POSITION SUMMARY: In this position, you will lead a staff of contracted security officers to safeguard company assets as well as to provide a safe and secure work environment for all associates and visitors. This organization is a fast-paced fulfillment center and corporate office environment in which you will be responsible for recommending and enforcing safety/security regulations and procedures for the company. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Supervises security, loss prevention, and safety functions for the company. ? Plans and supervises, in conjunction with security contractor management team, the operations of the security force. ? Assists in establishing and implementing appropriate security, loss prevention, and safety related policies, procedures and training. ? Conducts formalized security/safety audits of the facilities to include recommendations to prevent/minimize loss and mitigate safety issues. ? Supervises both internal and external dishonesty investigations. ? Coordinates investigations with outside law enforcement agencies, as needed. ? Researches and recommends security vendors, processes, tools, and equipment that enhance site security, then initiates and supervises their implementation. ? Responsible for managing to the department budget. ? Responds to and manages on-site tactical responses to emergency situations such as medical emergencies, security and fire alarms, and natural or man-made disasters. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: ? Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years experience in Safety Services/Security or 5 years experience with related Associate's degree. ? Experience in a fulfillment center, distribution center, or retail environment preferred. ? Previous management experience required. ? Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office. ? Strong interpersonal skills, to include team building and conflict management. ? Demonstrated ability to manage budget, outside vendors and security service providers. ?
