Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required, as well as specialized training or equivalent work experience.
An advanced level of knowledge and experience in operations, repair and construction related to Electric Transmission and Distribution.
Must have knowledge of applied electricity to include AC and DC electrical circuits and equipment and knowledge of construction standards relating to T&D facilities.
Must have thorough knowledge of General Safety and Accident Prevention specifications, and clearance and switching control procedures in System Operations.
Must have the ability to learn various computer mainframe applications(CREWS, SAP, POWERON, AM/FM) and PC applications to include Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office. Must have the ability to make field drawings as required.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Ability to work in known and unknown environments and the ability to travel over developed and undeveloped terrain.
Ability to operate automobiles and trucks, and to a lesser extent, vocational equipment.
