Senior Estimator- (Full-time - Ogden, UT) 

Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects based on project drawings and specifications, knowledge of construction practice, and profitability goals.  Positions available in Las Vegas, Nevada and Ogden, Utah

Minimum qualifications and requirements for applicants

Education – Bachelors degree or higher in construction, civil engineering, or architecture is highly desired.  High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience – 5+ yrs. successful track record in large and complex commercial/retail estimating for a general contractor.  Verification of experience will be required.

Requirements –

·         Because the estimator will often be working on more than one project at a time, the ability ot multi-task is an important requirement.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail oriented.        

·         Travel often required to attend pre-job meetings, visit potential job sites and meet with owners and other members of the project team. 

·         Strong working knowledge of computer applications including

-         Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Project

-         Primebid, Timberline

·         Ability to interpret all levels of drawings from the conceptual through the construction phase of design, narratives, outlines and specifications

·         Solid analytical and mathematical skills
