Preference given to candidates near Akron, Ohio and Houston, Texas, however, all are welcomed to apply. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering ( BSEE ); Professional Engineer registration ( PE ) and the ability to register in multiple states; 10+ years experience in the design and construction of outdoor utility grade electrical power substations. Must be a self starter and able to perform with little or no supervision. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform all necessary calculations needed for a complete substation design including short circuit, relay coordination, grounding, and static protection; Generate all necessary sketches for the CADD group to develop a complete drawing package: Perform inspection visits to construction sites; Coordinate design requirements with the owner and servicing utility; Provide technically feasible alternatives to effectively achieve cost objectives.
