Position Description:

This position will offer you the opportunity to utilize and expand your academic training in Structural Engineering. You will work on project teams with other structural engineers involved in nuclear power plant modifications and upgrades. You will be involved in structural design, preparation and review of engineering calculations and related engineering analyses. Using state-of-the-art computer tools, you will perform structural analysis and design of steel frames, connections, concrete members, component supports, and foundations. In addition, you may have the opportunity to travel to the plant site locations to do field examinations and structural engineering evaluations.

Qualifications:

A BSCE or MSCE degree in Civil (Structural) Engineering with course work in behavior of materials, structural analysis, structural steel design, and reinforced concrete design. Computer proficiency in STAAD PRO and SAP2000 programs is required.
