Job Description:
Wheelabrator, A Siemens Company, offers 95 years of technology leadership in the air pollution control industry. Recently acquired by Siemens, today's Wheelabrator is ready to create an exciting tomorrow built on the successes of yesterday. We are expanding our operation to Orlando, Florida. Join us now as a Designer and leverage your knowledge of air pollution control.

These positions may be filled at a Level 1, 2 or 3 depending on experience.

Prepare and check structural design drawings of large support structures, buildings and access. Also prepare design drawings of various steel plate structures and equipment, such as tanks, vessels, power plant size ductwork, fabric filter and ESP's (Electrostatic Precipitators.

Successful candidate will have the ability to review and approve structural steel detail drawings prepared and submitted by steel fabricators for compliance with AISC standards and WAPC design drawings.

Must be familiar with AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) standard practices, AutoCad or Microstation 2D experience.

Educational Requirements: Certification from a 2 year technical school preferred.
