Java Developer - J2EE Engineer - Ruby on Rails Programmer - Perl - Scrum - Agile

Attention: All senior level Java/J2EE Developer who wants to show off your web development skills? If so, read on!

What you need to apply:

** 5-8+ years experience developing software programs (Java, C++, C#)
** Strong Object Oriented (OO) development skills/ background
** Expert in Java and J2EE coupled with a toolbox of other languages (e.g. C#, Ruby, C++ or Perl);
** Familiarity with Scrum or Extreme Programming project methods as well as test driven development;
** Experience being the senior point of contact with clients in a consulting environment;
** Experience in a professional consulting environment is a must

What you will be doing:
Building a Global E-commerce Framework and Applications from scratch in Ruby on Rails with complete OPEN Source Stack.

Group utilizes most recent versions of Ruby and Rails shortly after they come to market. Due to the Global Roll outs all over the world the candidate will have opportunity to travel internationally (Asia, Europe, South America, etc.).

This group has won awards for the past 5 years for best Web Site/E-commerce application. Manager is one of the original Technical Editors of Headfirst Design Patterns.

Group has tremendous resources available to them (MAC's, 30 inch flat screens, subscriptions to Amazon.com, training, etc.)

If someone has a passion for learning Ruby on Rails and has played around with on their own and would like to leverage their strong Java or .NET (OO) background than this is perfect situation to do so.

In addition, will be full trained on learning the entire e-commerce business side. Order to fulfillment.

Freedom in your development methodology. For example, senior developer uses NetBeans instead of TextMe for their IDE. The software developer who enjoys this type of individualism to their code will thrive here.
