Nebraska Book Company has a current opening for a Store Manager at the College Store West. This position is accountable for sales, gross margin, inventory, and expense controls of the bookstore. Prior college bookstore management experience is required along with a strong knowledge of the textbook department process. The ideal candidate will be someone who is responsible, organized, and experienced with superior communication skills. Other duties include, but are not limited to, staff hiring and development, purchasing, setting service standards, management of funds, and control of all store functions. NBC provides support services to their stores, however allows them the freedom of making individual store decisions based on their need. On-the-job training will be provided and skills will continually be developed through out the employee's career.
