D&B (NYSE:DNB), the leading provider of global business information, tools, and insight, has enabled customers to Decide with Confidence for over 160 years Responsible for acquiring through out-bound calling new business within the State & Local marketplace by selling D&B’s online solutions (DNBi, Hoovers, Selectory, Global Reference Solution-GRS etc.) that will impact performance within the State’s functional areas: Tax and Revenue, Vendor Management, Workers’ Compensation, Economic Development, Law Enforcement, Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. Revenue will be acquired solely through the development of new customer acquisition. Prepare and deliver D&B’s Government DUNSRight value presentations to executive-level audiences. Effectively manage and communicate with manager and sales team regarding the sales process, and be proficient in use of sales force automation tools (Bolt, SFDC, Work-flow, E-leads, Web Kiosk…) and web collaboration i.e., MS Live Meeting as well as external RFP/RFI lead sources/tools. Remain knowledgeable of S&L Government industry trends and gov’t buying process and the broad spectrum of D&B Government Solutions products. Demonstrated sales ability (identify, nurture and close revenue opportunities); assertive, persistent, good listener, and self-motivated Organized /Systematic approach to meeting daily/monthly goals Effectivley work and provide feedback on targeted calling campaigns in SFDC and to marketing lead. Abilty to make 20-30 high quality prospect contacts a day including cold calls, leads and follow-up conversations. 5+ years experience in acquiring and developing new business relationships in a government or equivalent commercial marketplace Ability to understand and navigate through Government compliance and contract processes Proven track record of achieving/exceeding quota-driven goals Excellent negotiator, strong presentation skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills Ability to demonstrate solutions via web collaboration tools (live meeting access) Bachelor’s degree is preferred
