The primary responsibilities of the Staff/Senior Attorney - Employee Relations
include 1) responding to EEOC and DOL employment-related discrimination and/or
harassment charges and audits; developing strategies for defense or settlement
and mediating charges as necessary; 2) advising Human Resources professionals
regarding employment-related matters, legal risk, and policy recommendations,
and 3) presenting legal compliance training for managers and supervisors on
topics concerning Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, ADEA, USERRA and all forms of
harassment and conducting compliance review.

Other responsibilities entail legal projects as required, including merger and
acquisition activities, policy development, compliance training oversight;
drafting release agreements, employment contracts, and covenants not to compete.

Minimum Requirements: Juris Doctorate and license to practice law in Arkansas
plus 4-6 years professional level experience.

Desired Qualifications:
Experience in employment law preferred; Excellent verbal and written
communication skills. Alltel experience a plus.
