Staff Accountant
Responsibility Summary
The Staff Accountant will report to the Controller and will be based in Carmel, Indiana.
Primary responsibilities:
1. Manage/forecast cash flow.
2. Prepare month end closing accruals.
3. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
4. Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.
5. Assist with annual budgets.
6. Oversee cash/bank accounts reconciliation, fixed assets, accrual account and prepaid expense account reconciliations.
7. Assist in the development and maintain financial systems and procedures to strengthen internal controls throughout the company.
8. Coordinate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with annual filing requirements.
9. Ensure that all audit requirements are met in a timely manner.
10. Develop capital project procedures and audit controls.
COMPENSATION
Total Compensation will be commensurate with the experience, capabilities and situation of the Candidate. An annual bonus will be in addition to the base salary. Other benefits include health coverage, 401k, long-term disability insurance, and life insurance.
EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND CRITERIA/PREFERENCES
1. Education – BS/BA in Business Administration, Accounting, or other related field.
2. Familiarity with GAAP
