We are currently seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join the Accounting Department of one of the largest, most well respected resorts in Central Florida. Our client is experiencing tremendous growth and this is a newly created position.  If you are looking for a stable organization, excellent growth potential, and a competitive salary and benefits then this is the job for you!!!! This person will be responsible for assisting with month-end close activities including accrual calculations, posting journal entries and assisting with various cash, financial and budgeting analysis projects. This individual will also assist with preparing financial statements, oversight of business operations, maintaining the general ledger and general ledger reports and audit documentation preparation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development and enforcement of accounting policies and procedures
• Perform month end reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Assist in the maintenance of financial report
• Play a key role in budget vs. actual process
• Book journal entries

Skills / Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
The experienced Staff Accountant we seek will possess the following qualifications: Accounting/ Finance degree with 3-5 years related accounting experience. Proficient with Excel and Word. Oracle experience is strongly preferred. Individual who is a team player and focused on goals and results. Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
