A modern engineering firm is interested in adding a Staff Accountant to their team.  If you are a fit for this position, please apply online or by submitting your resume. The requirements and abilities necessary are as follows:

- Assistance with accounts payable, and intercompany transactions
- Monthly journal entries, reconciliations and financial reporting
- Assist with quarterly reporting requirements, payroll tax returns, and etc
- General ledger accounting

- Assists in month-end processes and production of year-end outside audit schedules and information
- Prepare financial analysis and reports: including sales/use tax reports, business license renewals, personal property statements

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to compose letters, detailed financial reports and memos to executives and other colleagues
- Reporting, audits and projects.

Specialized Skills:
- Excel
- Word
- Strong systems knowledge, including integrated accounting systems
- Access and/or crystal reports
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay flexible, while meeting deadlines and goals.

-Experience with the following:
- Minimum of two years experience in a similar position
- Construction industry experience preferred.

Desired Certifications:
- B.A. in accounting or finance required.
