The world's leading real estate services and money management firm seeks a bright and energetic staff accountant for their NYC midtown location. Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage special projects and new initiatives Track and report on cost savings initiatives Track and report for chargeback related vendors and activities Support production of timely and accurate monthly financial statements and provide analysis on information which could include supporting revenue schedules, labor reports, and expense review Ensure that balance sheet/accounts receivable reconciliations are completed in a timely and accurate manner Support monthly revenue reconciliation as well as ensure accurate recognition of revenue in compliance with contract terms Potentially assist Senior Associate in preparation of quarterly audit work papers, annual budgets, and monthly reforecasts Able to work in a high volume and deadline driven environment For immediate and confidential consideration, please email resume in Word format directly to Hemali Patel at hemali.patel@roberthalf.com

Qualifications :
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field Minimum of 2 years accounting experience; real estate a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Demonstrated consistency in values, principles and work ethic Strong attention to detail Must be a self-starter with the ability to excel in a fast paced and customer service oriented environment Computer proficiency using Microsoft Excel Prior JD Edwards experience is a plus
