Robert Half Finance & Accounting the world's largest and oldest specialized finance and accounting recruitment firm is currently seeking candidates for a Staff Accountant position with a CPA firm located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Accounting, is a CPA or a CPA Candidate, and has between 1-3 years of public accounting and tax experience. The candidate selected will be responsible for audit engagements, financial statement preparation, preparation of corporate, partnership, fiduciary, non-profit and individual tax returns, in addition to other projects as assigned. The candidate will possess excellent communication and presentation skills and have the ability to work independently. The company offers to pay the employee's portion of their health care premium, offers a 401K retirement plan with a 3% match (eligibility after 1 year of employment), vacation and sick leave, and comp time for overtime hours (with the option of using it as additional vacation time or being paid at their straight time hourly rate).
