Job Purpose:
Accomplishes organizational and departmental objectives by planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating department programs; executing the organization culture and policies; directing staff. Works with Wall Street community to secure funds for current and future business.
Duties:
* Develops organizational strategies by completing studies and surveys; contributing department information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing department objectives in line with organizational objectives; recommending and evaluating alliances, mergers, and acquisitions.
* Establishes department operational strategies by evaluating department trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; integrating systems, technology, and communications programs; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
* Develops department financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating department requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; preparing budgets; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
* Accomplishes department human resource strategies by determining accountabilities; communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures; implementing recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, counseling, disciplinary, and communication programs; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation strategies.
* Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing regulations; recommending new procedures.
* Provides information to the chief executive officer and board of directors by directing the collection, analysis, and summarization of data and trends; evaluating reports and recommendations.
* Develops community ties by participating in local, state, and regional activities and events.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
* Accomplishes organization mission by completing special projects and related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
Corporate Finance, Managing Profitability, Financial Planning and Strategy, Forecasting, Developing Budgets, Analyzing Information , Business Knowledge, Reporting Research Results, Statistical Analysis, Leadership, Raises Capital, experienced in IPO transactions.
