Cherokee Nation Enterprises is the premier entertainment company in Oklahoma. We operate seven Casinos and multiple retail establishments in northeast Oklahoma with corporate offices in Tahlequah and Catoosa. Cherokee Casino Resort in Tulsa, is Oklahoma's finest resort gaming destination. The resort features a 150-room hotel with five restaurants, three clubs, meeting spaces, a gift shop and a championship golf course.
Responsibilities
Responsible for custom application development. Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional areas in accordance with industry standards. Must be able to analyze and document complex application processes and integrated computer systems and their data structures. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system, programming and user documentation. Recommends changes in development methodologies, processes and standards. Trains users in conversion and implementation of system. May lead small to medium size development projects.
Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or an equivalent 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of working being performed and 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar environment.
Knowledge of PeopleSoft development tools or other major ERP development toolset; ORACLE, SQL SERVER, Windows Server is desirable.
Must demonstrate a broad understanding of contemporary information technologies, which include database, programming environments, systems integration and operating systems.
