SDS Department Overview
Strategic Data Solutions (SDS) uses one of the world's largest data sources and a consumer-centric data platform to improve Yahoo! products, deliver business insights, and enable innovative marketing solutions.

Job Responsibilities
* Creating test plans and test cases
* Executing test cases
* Performing root cause analysis to identify problems in design and/or implementation
* Ability to define and manage QA projects

Minimum Job Qualifications
* Strong problem solving skills
* Strong communication skills
* Hands-on experience with back-end testing
* Experience with automated test harnesses
* Test automation experience
* Strong knowledge of UNIX & PERL
* Familiarity with SQL
* 5-7+ years commercial software testing experience
* BS/MS in CS (or equivalent)

Preferable Job Qualifications
* Ability to read C++
* Data Warehousing experience Strong plus
* Distributed Systems experience
