As a Project Manager for PR Newswire, based in our Jersey City, NJ offices, your primary task will be to manage high-value, strategic projects from inception through to delivery. PMP, or even better PRINCE2, certification will shed light on the way we operate, as our methodologies follow these models. We are looking for someone who has done this before and can hit the ground running at full speed, so your experience managing challenging technical and non-technical projects for dynamic, multi-national organizations will be put to the test. Your role will cover the gamut of traditional PM responsibilities -- time tracking and resource allocation; negotiation and communication; budget, ROI, and most importantly risk -- with which you should already have significant experience thereby providing you a solid foundation. Your ability to converse with colleagues and management at all levels, both verbally and in writing, will be hugely important to your success and your experience in departmental management or managing other PMs will be very advantageous. Our PMO sits inside our technology department, so you will have to know your technology and your business as you interface with development and engineering as well as finance and business stakeholders.
