Malcolm Pirnie has an immediate need for a Sr. Project Engineer to manage service delivery to municipal clients in the Mid-Atlantic area and to oversee planning, design and construction of sewer and water distribution system projects and water/wastewater treatment projects from our Newport News, VA office. The successful candidate will provide a leadership role in the engineering design of water and wastewater projects, including project management and administrative supervision of engineering and technical staff. This position will involve travel associated with projects primarily located in Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC and North Carolina. 15 to 20 years experience in the consulting engineering field, with minimum 5 years experience supervising other engineers and technical staff. B.S. in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering required, M.S. preferred. PE License with ability to obtain registration in VA, MD, DC and NC a must. Strong Client Communication, Project Management, Technical Design and Project/Service Delivery Skills are also required. EOE.
