Malcolm Pirnie, Inc is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for our El Paso office. This person will perform project management duties and will lead/supervisor engineers developing detailed design documents for municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities. The ideal candidate will complement the current water/wastewater Treatment Plant Design group in Texas by providing additional project management depth and detailed design engineering skills. Candidates should possess the following qualifications: - Eight or more years of progressively responsible experience with the majority of experience as a consulting engineer in the municipal water/wastewater industry. - Significant treatment plant design experience including development of conceptual/preliminary designs, detailed design document preparation, and office engineering during construction. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation. - Demonstrated project management experience including budget and schedule monitoring and control responsibilities. - Experience mentoring and supervising other design engineers. - B.S. degree in engineering; M.S. a plus. P.E. required.
