Sr.  Network/Voice Architect

INFORMATION ON THE POSITION
• Create system requirements for clients
• Determine hardware/software components
• Design all major aspects of the network
• Support technical design, implementation and troubleshooting Cisco IPT and VoIP networks

 

INFORMATION ON QUALIFICATIONS
• 3-5 years of IP telephony experience
• Experience in network (IP and Telco), data, access, performance, scalability, security, reliability and fault tolerance
• Architecture and administration of complex customer contact systems
• Systems using Interactive Voice Response (IVR) units, Automatic Call Distributors (ACD), and Computer Telephony Interface (CTI)
• Experience in design, deployment and maintenance of relational databases in a highly available environment
• PBX (G3, Lucent, Nortel, Avaya) and PBX to call center integration
• Routing and Switching (CCNP, CCIE or equivalent)
• Cisco IP Telephony design & implementation (CIPT & Unity certification) a must
• IPCC and Call Center a plus
• Ability to travel 50-75% is possible based on location and project requirements

EDUCATION
A bachelor’s degree is required accompanied with designated certifications. A master’s degree is preferred. Candidates should have a desire to gain technical skills through advanced certifications (MCSE/CCNP/CCIE) or other similar achievements.
