As the Sr. Network Pricing Analyst, you would analyze hospital contracts and negotiate with hospitals. The chosen candidate may work from our Hartford, CT, Melville, NY; New York City; Iselin, NJ or Philadelphia office. Key responsibilities of the Sr. Network Pricing Analyst include:Modeling the hospital contracts and negotiating with hospitals Working with the internal contracting teams Modeling and approving unit-cost increases Conducting financial analysis using MS Excel and other modeling tools Analyzing contracts and the impact of moving to an updated contract Collaborating with the network management team Requirements include:Strong analytical skills A background in the healthcare industry Proficiency in Microsoft Excel A Bachelor’s degree Excellent verbal and written communication skills In addition, ideal assets include:Financial modeling experience Contracting experience Skills in MS Access Familiarity with HPM (pricing model) and Cognos UnitedHealth Group offers a full range of comprehensive benefits to full-time and part-time employees, including medical, dental and vision, as well as a matching 401k and an employee stock purchase plan.
