The Senior Analyst, Business Management is a core member and key contributor in GSI's licensed business management group. The licensed business management group is responsible for driving the e-Commerce businesses of the professional sports leagues (NFL,MLB,NHL,NASCAR,NBA, MLS). This group has P&L responsibility for each e-commerce business and manages the businesses on both a strategic and day-to-day basis. This group serves as the face of GSI to our partners. The members of the licensed team work internally across our merchandising team, technology team, interactive agency (design services, product management, and online marketing), catalog team, and operations groups (call centers and fulfillment centers) to help drive our partners businesses. This Senior Analyst opportunity is specific to the NASCAR partnership with GSI Commerce. The Sr. Analyst will manage key elements of the NASCAR e-commerce business and the partner relationships between Turner Sports and NASCAR . This individual works closely with the e-commerce manager to take ownership for site promotion and marketing, project delivery and other critical elements of the business. The role typically includes overall site operations and process improvement, site merchandising, liaison with operations (customer service and fulfillment center), enhancements and technology projects, marketing calendar and promotions, analysis of site and marketing reporting. The Senior Analyst, Business Management value to GSI and its partners by: -Manage partner relationship-Become an extension of the partner's business. Build strong rapport with partners including managing relationship, expectation setting, and status communications. -Manage marketing and promotions-Create the store marketing calendar and execute all promotions associated with the business. -Operations-Liaison with customer service and fulfillment center to create a unified customer experience. Make key operations groups as an extension of the business management team. -Project Management-Successfully manages both site enhancement and technology projects. Bring projects to closure and ensure appropriate communication to internal/external audiences. -Business analysis-Conduct regular and ad hoc analysis of the site, business opportunities, and marketing. Develop recommendations and solutions resulting from data. -Grow partner's business-Contribute to overall team success of beating sales forecast for partner The successful Senior Analyst, Business Management will have the following attributes: -3-5 years e-Commerce experience. -Retail experience, knowledge, and expertise. -Knowledge in the licensed sports industry. -Ability to think both tactically and strategically in mapping out a successful e-Commerce business -Some experience with catalogs and catalog merchandising -Ability to work closely with clients and peers to continually understand and anticipate their needs. -Service orientation: having experience in service, delivery and customer focus in an organization that gets things done through matrixes resources. -Demonstrated ability to exceed client expectations and incorporate urgency and strong service ethic into all aspects of the job. -Thorough P&L and legal contract understanding. -Bachelor's Degree in business. -Strong computer skills with superior knowledge of excel and PowerPoint Desirable Requirements: -An understanding and passion for the NASCAR business -Project management skills -Some experience in business development and solution selling RESPOND HERE!
