We are currently seeking an individual with extensive experience in a Senior Director of Internal Audit role. This individual would direct all audit activities throughout Northern California and assist with business development activities.

Significant experience must include:

Creation of internal audit department from ground up Experience in a professional services consulting environment Client relationship management Engagement and staff management

Responsibilities:

Direct all audit activities Grow the internal audit practice through business development activities Proactively guide the client on strategic issues, leading strategic projects as appropriate Maintain and build relationships with the management /decision makers at clients Provided strategic, financial and operational leadership Manage a large number of out-sourced internal audit functions for several different clients

Requirements:

Active California CPA or CIA a mustMinimum 10+ years experience in Audit Minimum 4 years public accounting experience or Big 4 experienceExperience with a variety of industries, including technology, life science, banking, retail and manufacturing Excellent interpersonal, managerial and presentation skills
