This position can be located in either Louisville, KY or Nashville, TN.
Scope:
This position leads the content development efforts for brand consumer relationship marketing programs. Also responsible for developing an editorial calendar for all branded communications in support of CRM programs. In addition, this position will lead the approval process as new highly specialized and appropriate responses from our “library” of responses are developed. This library insures proper brand voice, consistency and quality of communications. This position will also be responsible for executing key elements of the overall relationship marketing program.
Basic Function:
Day-to-day leadership encompassing brand CRM programs focusing on consumer communications, both scheduled and ad hoc responses from consumers. Compose relationship building responses to incoming consumer communications. This will often include using the existing library of responses, as well as producing creative personalization and content that will help develop the consumer into a loyal lifelong supporter of the brand. For these new responses lead the approval process with brand, legal and other constituents. Develop new responses for the response library as needed under the supervision team leadership. Execute on all brand relationship marketing programs. Participates in and contributes toward team oriented goals and collaborates with all other teams and team members. Participates in sharing of best practices.
Responsibilities:
CRM
Lead content development efforts for CRM programs. Work with internal groups and external agencies in developing appropriate content. Develop annual editorial calendar for brand programs. Establish the scheduled outbound consumer communications plan. Execute on plan elements on a program-by-program basis.
Consumer Correspondence
Respond to consumer communications, representing the brand in a warm, friendly, personal manner. Use the electronic reference library as a foundation to create personalized, custom responses to inquiries, with the ultimate goal of building brand loyalty and encouraging future interaction. Lead the approval process for new communications
Communication
Communicates to the program supervisor(s) any relevant consumer relationship feedback, noteworthy trends, or potential problems that need to be addressed.
Must Requirements:
•Bachelor’s Degree (Business/Marketing, English or Journalism), plus 5-7 years experience in consumer relations marketing.
•Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with legible handwriting. Must have strong organizational skills, time management and decision-making skills, and great attention to detail.
•Must be internet savvy and familiar with using email programs and office productivity products..
•Conversational ability in a non-English language(when team is directly supporting a global brand
•Ability to think creatively with high degree of independence.
•Ability to perform all aspects of job with minimal or no supervision.
•Ability to wear multiple “hats” on the job.
•Must be comfortable interacting with all levels of personnel.
•Able to perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Requirements:
•Bachelor’s Degree (Business/Marketing, English or Journalism), plus 5-7 years experience in beverage alcohol consumer marketing environment; or 8-10 years equivalent experience in consumer relationship marketing.
•General knowledge and familiarity of Brown-Forman brands, internal processes and marketing strategies.
•Conversational expertise in a non-English language (when team is not directly supporting a global brand)
•Previous Internet experience.
•Proficiency with Brightware software.
•Ability to work flex and overtime hours and travel if needed.
