We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our team as a Senior Buyer/Planner, responsible for procuring electrical and mechanical components, capital equipment, software, and related services in the dynamic gaming industry.  This person will collaborate with the Engineering, Sales, Service, and Production organizations to manage the planning and purchasing cycle, and to give our company a competitive advantage by optimizing cost, quality, delivery and service.  The successful candidate will posses leadership experience and will be called upon to mentor less experienced individuals.

 

Required Skills

·        Thorough Understanding of MRP/ERP systems

·        Supplier Evaluation Techniques

·        Negotiation and Contracts

·        Inventory Management and Analysis

·        Material Quality Control and Quality Assurance

·        International Supply Chain Issues

·        Familiar with Engineering Drawings and Specifications

·        Product Configuration and Revision Control

·        Project Management

·        MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

·        Leadership Training and Experience

 

Desired Skills

·        Familiar with Electromechanical Assemblies and Networked Systems

·        APICS certification

 

Education and Experience

 

Bachelors degree and 5-10 years related experience required
