Job Summary

Description:
Responsible for ensuring all assets throughout the Facility are operating and maintained. This will include scheduling of all maintenance activities, coordination of technical resources and technical trouble shooting. This position requires extensive collaboration with customers, Leadership within assigned buildings, Engineering, with other Senior Building Managers and with OEM suppliers. This position is the primary owner for all assets.

Major Responsibilities
· Own asset reliability and availability
· Own budget and efficiency (including energy efficiency) performance of assigned assets
· Provide equipment troubleshooting – mechanical and electrical
· Schedule and direct PM, reactive maintenance, predictive maintenance and changeover activities
· Own PM content, effectiveness, and performance
· Co-own life cycle management of facility assets
· Provide technical guidance to mechanic and technician personnel
· Provide career development and performance management for technical staff (mechanics)
· Ensure proper technical support is available for all facility activities
· Ensure all training is current and appropriate for technical staff
· Ensure documentation and systems (work order processes are maintained) are updated and maintained
· Ensure adherence to SHE and GMP (change control) compliance and improvements
· Participate in risk analysis of spare parts inventory · Drive root cause analysis of machine failures
· Implement CAPAs
· Work collaboratively within facilities management as well as with other departments
· Maintain presence across shifts
· Develop and maintain relationships with OEM suppliers · Provide technical guidance to maintenance engineers
· Provide career development and performance management for technical staff (maintenance engineers)
· Ensure continuous improvement initiatives are driven throughout facilities
· Ensure all Technical & Engineering projects are turned over to facilities in operational state
· Develop and deliver strategic asset master plans

Responsibilities

· BS in engineering or related field
· Minimum of 7 years experience in Facility, GXP or regulated production/R&D environment, specifically responsible for equipment performance
· Proven experience leading engineering/maintenance team
· Minimum 5 years facilities management

* Emphasis will be placed on candidates with controls and/or HVAC experience.”

Preferred Background
· Controls and/or HVAC experience
· Working knowledge of TDMS, Microsoft applications, SAP
· Training or experience in the applicable following technologies: mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum technology, electronics, programmable logic controllers, refrigeration, freeze drying, test equipment for electrical and mechanical trouble shooting, HVAC, aseptic/controlled environment
· Experience in Six Sigma/ analytical trouble shooting skills
· Experience working in a LEAN environment
