Job Description --------------- The ideal candidate will deliver quality service to top tier banking clients. Candidate will be expected to take a consultant's approach to the attest/assurance process of a client's operations utilizing PricewaterhouseCoopers’ state-of-the-art analytical and technological tools and best practice's methodologies. This includes annual and financial risk assessment, planning, review by interview, analytical procedures, methods to enhance shareholder value, and focused reviews of information systems. Years of Experience Required ---------------------------- 3 Education Required ------------------ Bachelor's degree required Job Requirement Essential ------------------------- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years current public accounting experience in a Big 4, national firm, top local firm or prior major company that has a strong audit client base, preferably with Commercial Banking clients. Consumer Finance/Banking and/or SEC experience preferred Knowledge of any of the following areas is strongly preferred: *Residential Finance Capital Markets *Mortgage Banking secondary marketing *Accounting for mortgage activities under FAS140 and/or FAS133 *Hedge accounting under FAS133 *Auditing mortgage banks *Regulatory experience in mortgage banking *Mortgage Servicing Rights *Interest rate risk management *Capital Markets in general *MBS *Banking Audit and SEC experience needed A solid track record of demonstrated career achievements and academic excellence. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) required. A commitment to exceptional client service and a flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity is a must.
