Scope of Work:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Account Manager for the Fine Paper sales organization. The incumbent will have account responsibility for paper merchants who distribute Neenah Paper products in the Chicago metropolitan areas. This position entails direct selling to end-users and others in the business and design community who are involved in the selection and use of premium writing, text, cover and specialty papers. This position is based in the Greater Chicago area.
Qualifications:
· This position requires the knowledge and ability normally associated with a college degree, along with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Sales Representative in the industry and demonstrated ability to expand influence in the marketplace.
· Preferably sales experience in graphic arts/printing/advertising or paper related field.
· Proven sales track record.
· Strong prospecting and closing skills required.
· Must be effective at developing relationships & networking across a diverse customer base.
· Strategic thinking skills with the ability to understand and implement tactical plans to support territory strategy.
· The ability to understand and present complex premium branded product offerings, plus the capability to differentiate product offerings versus competitors.
· Experience in managing a product distribution network.
· The ability to understand and explain manufacturing capabilities.
· Strong presentation and communication skills are essential.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft application skills.
