Senior Account Executive – Online Advertising Sales (Chicago)

Jupiterimages provides photos and other graphic images electronically while JupiterOnlineMedia is the online media division of Jupitermedia.

 

Jupitermedia Corporation is currently seeking an online advertising Senior Account Executive in our Chicago office. This person will be responsible for online advertising media sales within JupiterOnlineMedia’s vertical categories of our technology network.

 

Responsibilities:

Prospect and Identify potential clients through cold-calling and networkingPrimary responsibilities include new business development; Selling online advertising programs to both client and agency side of the business Manage and upsell exisiting accounts; expand existing sales relationships within specific vertical technology categoriesAssist with development of sales strategies and collateralClient maintenance, customer service, sales administrative duties  Forecast and monitor progress of sales projectionsPrepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales

 
Our ideal candidate will possess experience developing both client and agency relationships in one or more of Jupitermedia’s core categories which include software development, IT networking, security, and storage. Preference will be given to those candidates who have experience in online advertising sales and can demonstrate a history of successful client relationship management and more importantly, new client development and account growth.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years online ad sales experience
• Proven success in previous sales positions
• Show a high degree of self-motivation and work well both as an individual and within a team environment
• Must have a history of quota attainment in outside sales
• Excellent communication, time management and presentation skills
• Demonstrated track record of developing successful account relations

Must be prepared to travel as needed (25%)
