A top financial services company is currently recruiting for a strong SQL Server database developer to join their Equities trading team and be responsible for the design and development of a key SQL Server 2005 database. A new cutting edge trading application is currently being built and the database you develop will directly support this front office trading systems. Candidates for this role will have three to 6 years experience in SQL Server database development, have excellent communication skills, and a strong educational background. Having a background in an investment bank, hedge fund, or trading firm will be beneficial in enabling you to have direct contact with users in the business group. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a high priority role that will allow you to have a strong impact on the overall design and development of an exciting new database project. Candidates should be proficient with indexes, table and query design, stored procedures coding, and ideally have exposure to DTS or SSIS packages.
