THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE

Scope

Responsible for providing finance and accounting leadership for the product lines of the Standard Products Group (SPG). As an integrated member of the division working directly with directors and staff in defining strategy, developing comprehensive business models, and evaluating business and product opportunities. Consolidates and interprets results from worldwide operations and regions for product lines within SPG. Eliminates surprises through thorough understanding of P&L drivers and accuracy in predicting impacts from day to day business decisions.

Key Deliverables: Supports generation of annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and manages SAG updates. Manages period close for and similar elements across the division. Provide financial comparisons, analysis, report variances, cost savings initiatives, and capital plans in alignment of product line strategy. Provides tools for management to efficiently respond to information requirements of the business. Manages overall business case methodology providing tools, system compliance, consistency, and fair evaluation to accept or reject opportunities. Stakeholder in SPG projects as well as finance signature for development phases. Maintains integrity of all financial data and adherence to corporate financial policies and GAAP,to include balance sheet analysis, assessment of risk and liability with business decisions and circumstances. Provides signature authorization, determines tax exemption status, and ensures proper internal controls are maintained.

Minimum Requirements: · Minimum of 10 years of finance or accounting experience within a manufacturing or product development environment with 5 years in a leadership capacity. Proficiency in PeopleSoft, Business Objects, excellent spreadsheet and power point skills, and Essbase reporting.

Education Requirements:

BS Accounting/Finance, CPA or MBA preferred
