Description
Under the direction of the Senior Speech Language Pathologist, the Speech Language Pathologist will provide evaluation and treatment of speech, language, swallowing and cognitive communication disorders, as ordered by the Physician. The Speech Language Pathologist will also participate in hospital-wide training.

Must evaluate and provide skilled Speech Language Pathology services to inpatients of varied diagnoses, according to their age specific needs. Additionally must maintain appropriate and timely chart documentation, initial evaluation, re-evaluation progress notes, care plans, patient/family education forms, billing and discharge summaries

Requirements
Maintains a current Maryland license in Speech Language Pathology. A master’s degree in speech language pathology.
A graduate clinical practicum experience providing services to the adult neurogenic population.Current CPR certification.
