* This position can be based in Phoenix, Arizona or Linton, ND office.*

The Specialized Corporate Travel Counselor will serve as a Customer Service Agent in the Quality Service Center. In this position, you will be responsible for receiving and responding to client service issues via telephone, email, GDS records (PNR remarks), identifying root causes and resolving issues in accordance with AMEX and Customer performance standards to meet and exceed Service Level Agreements. Strong interface between operation branches, customer and vendor.

Preferred office location is Phoenix, Arizona. Will also consider Linton, North Dakota office location for these positions.

Relocation opportunities will be considered.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have excellent problem-solving skills, demonstrated customer contact and collaboration skills, excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to use Call Center Management principles. Individual must be a strong team player and demonstrate excellent all around leadership. American Express Travel Operations knowledge is required including proficiency in two or more of the following GDS': Apollo, SABRE, Worldspan, or Amadeus. Basic Microsoft skills, database and Lotus Notes knowledge required.
