The position is responsible for:
Reporting to the Compliance Manager as member of the Compliance/QC Department on all matters concerning quality control and loss prevention.Overseeing the Quality Control of and assisting the Management Team with Safety Program such as OSHA reporting standards, safety violations/awards, safety inspections, coordinating and recording minutes for safety committee meetings, coordinate safety training and assist in core excellence audits. Overseeing the Quality Control of Hazardous and HazWaste Programs. Overseeing the Quality Control of Radioactive Protection Program (RPO).Committing to a highly interactive relationship in quality control.Providing quality products and services while achieving a high degree of customer satisfaction and shall ensure a balanced approach is used between satisfying both customer and DDC/DLA interests.Basic to Intermediate skill level w/Microsoft Office 2003 (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).Being responsible for the implementation of QC Plan to ensure standards are achieved.Intermediate to Expert skill level with DSS and familiarity with all warehouse functions performed on a daily basis.Strong customer service skills a must.Detail oriented.Bending, kneeling, climbing, and squatting. Full range of motion and mobility. Ability to lift up to 40lbs unassisted.Strong verbal and written communication skills. Read/write English.Ability to work with limited supervision after training.Performing other duties as required.
Required Skills
The successful candidate will have:
High School education or equivalent.Three (3) to five (5) years of similar experience.Having a Valid Drivers license and be able to operate Material Handling Equipment.The ability to perform all essential functions of the position.The ability to pass Hazardous/HazWaste/RPO Training.Must be willing to commit to position for at least one year.
