Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing North America (TEMA) is seeking Process Engineering Specialists to be located at our facilities in Georgetown, KY, Princeton, IN, and Erlanger, KY. The Process Engineering Specialist is responsible for process planning, budget management, installation coordination, quality confirmation and production confirmation.
Main responsibilities include:- Confirm new vehicle structures- Create/implement process plans- Write equipment specifications- Create bid packages- Procure equipment- Create & track schedules- Manage cost budgets- Monitor equipment installation- Confirm functionality of equipment and processes- Resolve vehicle quality concerns- Supervise and coordinate contractors in field work environment- Interface with contractors/skilled trades, affiliate companies, engineers and equipment manufacturers- Make countermeasures for timely completion of project deadlines- Multi-task across several simultaneous projects- Provide updates/reports to immediate management- Support current production performance Required:- BS, Engineering related Degree- Experience in a Manufacturing Environment- Interest in "hands-on" engineering - Microsoft Office Tools- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident- Capability to travel on a weekly basis- Capability to work over time on a weekly basis- Willingness to relocate- Ability to travel 30% Desired:- AutoCAD/Catia/Delmia (3D CAD) experience- Toyota Production System knowledge- Project Management knowledge- Experience with Process Engineering - Automotive/automotive supplier experience- Japanese and/or Spanish Language- Equipment design and procurement experience- Resistance welding knowledge/experience- Body in white experience
