Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Mississippi (TMMMS) This position is located at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Mississippi (TMMMS) in Tupelo, MS.  TMMMS is part of  Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing North America, Inc. (TEMA). Established in 2007, TMMMS is Toyota's most recent expansion project in North America manufacturing operations. The facility will produce over 100,000 vehicles annually. Production will include assembly of the Highlander. Paint Engineering Specialist Successful candidate will have engineering responsibility to perform process planning, budget management, and installation coordination.  Additionally would coordinate Safety, Quality, Productivity, and cost projects/investigations, coordinate new material and model introductions, develop standardized work methods, lead development of innovative concepts and create project proposals for issues. Training for this position in the areas of Toyota production system, new equipment and technologies will be conducted at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky, Georgetown, requiring an extended stay in the first year to learn the positions core responsibilities.   

Requirements:

 

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or relevant technical field. Experience in project management in a Manufacturing Setting. Able to work independently to develop solutionsfor complex problems based on facts, experience, and judgement. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and other PC applications (Microsoft Project, Access, Lotus Notes, web-based applictions, etc)

Desired:

 

Experience in budget control for capitol projects. Experience with PLC systems (ie Allen Bradley). Experience with HMI/SCADA.
