Responsible for the management of all activities in the Special Assets Group, with special emphasis on compliance with all applicable JFG policies and procedures; state and federal laws; and regulatory, investor, and mortgage insurer guidelines related to collection and legal activity on Mortgage, Retail, and Commercial non-performing loans.

Must be proactive in seeking technological enhancements and fully utilizing current technology solutions. Will participate in Foreclosure Review Board.

Responsible for establishing team and individual goals, establishing and associate personal development plans, continuously assessing individual performance, and completing associate performance and salary reviews.

Required Skills

Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in servicing Mortgage or Consumer non-performing loans, combined with applicable training and education.

Knowledge of Freddie Mac and/or Fannie Mae servicing guidelines preferred. Successful candidate will have familiarity with pertinent state and federal laws and regulations.

High School graduate or equivalent, undergraduate degree preferred, not required. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience required.

This position requires excellent communication skills, diplomacy, a high degree of business professionalism, accuracy, and ability to organize multiple tasks and a strong client-focused service approach in a fast-paced environment. Computer proficiency necessary.
