Under direction, assists in coordinating, supervising and performing all activities in kitchen: assists with planning and creating daily menus; assists Chef with ordering; receives product, and checks for freshness and quality; maintains proper rotation of product, handling, storage and portion control; maintains strict sanitation standards; oversees daily routines of the kitchen personnel to react to new and unanticipated events; prepares all foods for ala carte and banquet service; supervises banquet preparation; performs other job related duties as required.

Requirements: High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in culinary arts preferred; NYS Food Handlers Certification required; must have 3 years experience including work in a hot line position; must be able to lift 40+ lbs and remain standing for 10 hours.
