To support our continued growth, SIMULIA, the Dassault Systemes brand for Realistic Simulation, has an immediate opening for a Solution Architect at our Providence, Rhode Island headquarters. We are seeking candidates with experience designing and deploying solutions based on the ENOVIA/Matrix One platform. Candidates should have excellent software development skills for developing solutions to support software development lifecycle based on J2EE architecture. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with at least 5 years of experience or a Master's degree with at least 3 years of experience and demonstrated experience in J2EE development and deployment using formal and contemporary development methodologies.

Additional requirements include:

·         Prior experience with ENOVIA/MatrixOne applications (Program Central, Team Central, Engineering Central)

·         Ability to Implement MatrixOne Solutions

·         Perform configuration analysis, document functional gaps and requirements

·         Must have good communication skills and be an innovative team player who is highly motivated to meet the challenges of working with geographically dispersed teams

·         Excellent understanding of distributed J2EE web architecture

·         Demonstrated experience in web based UI design and implementation

·         Knowledge of web technologies - HTML, Java, JSP,  XML, CSS and Web Services

·         Knowledge of data base concepts and experience in any query language –

·         Strong object-oriented design and UML skills is required
