The position is a full time Software Tester position for the JSF program that involves the software development of an integrated system of software components. Primary responsibilities include planning; scheduling, and testing of software updates to safety-of-flight, pre-flight mission planning software.

Education:
A high school diploma is required.  A college degree is a plus.

Experience:
At least one (1) year of professional software testing experience including one (1) year performing software testing functions with respect to Navy weapons systems.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience with software test execution in one or more of the following areas: black-box functional testing, system-level testing, system-integration testing, user-acceptance testing, and automated test scripting/execution.  Previous test experience on mission-critical or safety-critical software is desirable.  Previous test planning experience in the areas mentioned above is desirable.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Candidate should have strong mathematics and software lifecycle management experience, good communication skills.
