SysTest Labs is currently seeking a Software Engineering Verification and Validation Analyst to work on our project with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) project. You will be required to assist the State in monitoring and supporting activities related to ensuring that the application as designed, developed and implemented fully meets the prescribed program requirements and that project deliverables meet or exceed the required quality standards.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Minimum of three (3) years experience in providing software engineering verification and validation for a large integration project of at least $50 million AND 2,000 users, using industry standards such as IEEE.

Minimum of three (3) years experience in identifying deficiencies and defects in contract deliverables and following them through to resolution.

Minimum of three (3) years experience in monitoring validity of test programs.

Minimum of (3) years experience in risk management, consistent with Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) risk management standards and principles for large IT procurement(s) software development efforts.

Minimum of three years (3) experience in software design adhering to standards defined in IEEE 1012-1988 Standard for Software Verification and Validation and IEEE 1028-1997, Paragraph 6, Inspections.

Minimum of three (3) years experience conducting technical assessments on systems of at least $50 million AND 2,000 users.

Minimum of three (3) years project management experience in statewide projects involving county-based implementation of an information technology solution.
