RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Ability to analyze and develop ETL processes using Abinitio 2.14 or above and DB2 SQL-PL PL.Responsible for preparing ETL design documents.Evaluates and recommends ETL solutions to meet user needs.Advanced ability to effectively troubleshoot ETL server and design errors.Ability to define and implement approaches to load and extract data from data sources.Identify opportunities for further enhancements and refinements to the ETL standards and processes.Works closely with the Project teams and Guides them through the Project on ETL processes and solutions.Performance tuning in Abinitio Graphs.Keep systems documentation up to date.Find the root cause when given a broad issue and research it to.Suggest the best solution, and then meet delivery estimates.Responsible for providing technical leadership and hands on deliverables for development of the VISA Commercial Card Applications, built on Abinitio Graphs.Participate and actively contribute in division wide technical and other team events.Promote break-thru thinking and extreme collaboration.Demonstrate Organization's core values while achieving the defined goals and Lead by example.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

BS in Computer science or equivalent9+ years of hands-on experience in developing and supporting business applications for large corporations with experience in both batch and online systems.At least 3-4 years of experience in leading a technical team for major project deliverables and production support tasks.Very strong verbal and written communication skills.Must be very proficient in the latest application development technologies, tools, databases and methodologies.Skills are required in the following technologies, standards and methodologies, preferably with certifications in the respective areas: ABINITIO, JAVA/J2EE, DB2 UDB/ORACLE/SQL Server, Websphere, EAI, SOA, RUP.  REF: CAAR563861
