Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technologies professionals, has an immediate opening for an Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a Permanent Employment opportunity with a leading high tech manufacturer in West Michigan.

 

Our West Michigan Client develops advanced electro-optical products - electronic devices combining photoelectric sensors and related electronic circuitry. This tier one automotive supplier is the leader in their market and is world renowned for their product innovations.  Benefits include competitive salary, full health, great work environment, and annual bonus.   This position requires US Citizenship or Green Card Status   Permanent Position:           Senior Systems Engineer

·         Prefer a four year degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or BSCS degree)

·         Prefer at least 6 years experience in hardware, software design and system design

·         Prefer some experience in a variety of areas such as ASIC development, analog and digital electronics, PC and embedded software, optics, manufacturability, modeling, requirements development, emerging technologies, and system architecture

·         International and domestic travel may be required

·         Works closely with the internal  Advanced Groups, Software Developers, Design Engineers, Program Management, Cross Functional Launch Teams as well as external Automotive customers, technology partners and key component suppliers

·         Evaluate emerging products’ ability to meet customer and market expectations

·         Quantify performance, requirements, design, system validation, and manufacturability expectations

·         Synthesize new product and technology solutions

·         Provide technical input and direction inside  and at customers, partners, and suppliers supporting the development of emerging  core products

·         Determine product, feature, technology and design feasibility

·         Support quotes of emerging products

·         Provide technical and product input to the research groups

·         Architect, design and develop tools

·         Establish architecture guidelines for product integrations
