L-3 GSI has multiple Software Engineering positions supporting tactical Navy and Marine aircraft, including FA/-18, AV-8B, AH-1, and the Fire Scout Unmanned Air System, at the Naval Air Warfare Center at China Lake, California. These positions require the ability to acquire and maintain a government granted security clearance and relocation to Ridgecrest California, a high desert community on the Eastern slope of the Sierra Mountains, with a population of just under 30,000. Successful applicants will meet one or more of the following criteria: REQUIRED EXPERIENCE •Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Math or related field. •3 years of relevant experience •Understanding of the full software life cycle development process PREFERRED EXPERIENCE •Visual C++ and Object Oriented Analysis and Design •Systems Integration, unit test •Embedded Software Development •DOD STD 2167A and 498; MIL-STD 1553B •FORTRAN 77, SGI IRIX, UNIX •Capability Maturity Model, Integration (CMMI) •Rational Rose
