EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY!!! A manufacturing company is searching for a Software Engineer for its Illinois location. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years programming experience in an embedded environment using C/C++ and/or PC applications programming in design and architecture of Object Oriented software. A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is required. Applicant must have experience in a variety of Operating Systems (Windows, Windows Mobile, RTOS’s, and Linux), C/C++, Visual Basic, Java, database design, SQL, and vehicle protocols (J1850, ISO-9141, KWP2000, J2284, J1939, J1708). Experience in the automotive diagnostic environment is a PLUS!!! Candidate must have strong organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. This position is responsible for developing detailed software specifications; Architect and implementation of embedded software in C or C++, Windows PC-based software in the MS.Net environment; Designing the software User Interface, structure, and modular interfaces; Designing and executing test cases; Correcting bugs found during system testing; Tracking all changes and fix bugs during the development process. Salary is commensurate with experience. Company offers a relocation package and a benefit package that begins approximately 30 days from date of hire!!! Questions you will be asked:
