CITY: Wilmington STATE: Massachusetts COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities): Responsible for the software design aspects of new products, existing products, product modifications and full documentation at GE Security. - Designs & maintains software for new & existing products. - Develops and applies advanced methods to the creation, design and development of complex software programs, and applications. - Directs problem solving projects or major phases of projects to resolve advanced software technical issues. -Organizes means for problem resolution, reviews project progress - Asses vendor capabilities and provides technical consultation - Provides technical support to Product Management, Sales & Production. Qualifications/Requirements: BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering Must have 3 years of experience as a Software Design Engineer using the following programs/tools: MFC, STL, Win32 Development Experience Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Microsoft Visual C, C++, (object oriented programming) Microsoft eMbedded C++ Embedded systems design, SBC .
