NGES is seeking a Software Configuration Management (SCM) Engineer with approximately 5-7 years experience in SCM utilizing ClearCase for product development and integration. Duties include developing scripts (Perl, .NET, Shell) for major process automation; new user workspace set-up; scheduling and performing builds and releases; branching and merging of files; and providing/coordinating ClearCase user training. Successful candidate will also have a back ground designing, developing, automating, enhancing and maintaining productivity tools using programming or scripting languages to improve software modeling and development. CONUS Travel is required. TS/SCI clearance is required. Strong interpersonal skills a must. BS in computer science, math, or an engineering discipline or equivalent work experience required. A solid understanding of Configuration Management (Identification, Configuration Control, Status Accounting, Audits) and Software Development Lifecycle, and Configuration Management certification either by National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) or Configuration Management Institute (CMI) from Arizona State University (ASU) or University of Tennessee (UT) are a plus.
