Responsibilities

· Define software architecture and functional requirements for FPGA-accelerated computing products.

· Perform software functional analysis and design.

· Implement and test software using various programming languages and test methods.

· Develop software diagnostics and test harnesses.

· Participate in design reviews to ensure quality design output.

· Participate in system integration and acceptance testing.

· Create project documentation to ensure project information is properly organized and archived.

· Proactively identify and communicate courses of action that assist in project planning, execution, design, testing, documentation and procedures.

· Assist in resolution of customer support issues.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

· BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

· 10 years experience in embedded systems, real time applications, C++.

· Possess a working knowledge of object-oriented software engineering methods.

· Experience with Linux-based systems.

· Experienced in writing device drivers.

· Be able to work well both independently and as part of a cross-functional engineering team.

· Possess strong oral and written communication skills.

· Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with databases and SQL.

· Experience with BIOS development and/or low-level hardware-software interfaces.

· Knowlege of X86 PC architecture and assembly language.
